Gaius Commended for His Hospitality
3 John 1:2-8
2 Beloved, I wish chiefly that thou prosperedst and fairedst well as thy soul prospereth.
3 For I rejoiced greatly when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, how thou walkest in the truth.
4 I have no greater joy than this, that is, to hear that my sons walk in verity.
5 Beloved, thou doest faithfully, whatsoever thou doest to the brethren, and to strangers,
6 Which bare witness of thy love before the Churches. Whom if thou bringest on their journey as it beseemeth according to God, thou shalt do well,
7 Because that for his Name's sake they went forth, and took nothing of the Gentiles.
8 We therefore ought to receive such, that we might be helpers to the truth.
1 Corinthians 14:8
And also if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to battle?

Before, and many years after the KJV was printed, the GENEVA BIBLE was the People's Choice, but an ungodly King made it illegal to publish it any longer: http://www.genevabible.org/Geneva.html Click on "Geneva Bible History" on my site.
